Traditionally, coffee rubs are associated with different cuts of beef, however, this one is equally delicious on pork.
A tasty combination of some of your favourite spices, including chilli powder, turmeric and coriander, the addition of dark brown sugar helps make it exceptional.

- 3 tbsp freshly ground coffee beans
- 2 ½ tbsp dark brown sugar
- 4 ½ tbsp tsp sea salt
- 2 ½ tbsp ground chilli
- 1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp ground coriander
- ½ tsp ground turmeric
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Transfer to an airtight jar and store for up to 6 months.
Rub a generous amount over your cut of choice before cooking. For a more robust flavour, rub and leave overnight if time allows.
