  • 4 tablespoons of top-quality mayonnaise

  • A dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • A squeeze of fresh lemon juice, plus wedges for serving
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Paprika, for dusting
  • Fresh lettuce leaves, shredded for the base
  • Fresh dill, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Sauce: In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir until all the components are well blended, creating your cocktail sauce.
  2. Arrange the Lettuce: Place shredded lettuce at the bottom of four serving glasses. This will form the base for your prawn cocktail.
  3. Assemble the Cocktail: Distribute the cooked prawns, keeping a few aside for the garnish, among the glasses, placing them on top of the lettuce. Dollop the cocktail sauce over the prawns, ensuring each serving is well coated.
