How long have you been at the Market?
I’ve been part of the Market for two years now.
What’s something your customers may not know about you?
Something most customers might not know about me is that I’m a shopaholic! I enjoy all types of shopping, but there’s a special place in my heart for clothes shopping.
What’s one of the most unique experience you’ve come across at the Market?
The Lunar New Year Festival earlier this year was truly unforgettable. The drummers and the lion dance were unlike anything I’ve ever witnessed before. The vibrant noise, the atmosphere, and the crowd following the lion around the Market made it a remarkable spectacle.
Do you have a favourite Market memory?
One of my favourite Market memories is witnessing the Easter Bunny’s visit during Easter. It was really nice to see the joy on children’s faces as they received eggs. I also love the chocolate too!
What’s the most common thing customers ask you for?
The most common thing customers ask for is the Eggplant Casserole and all the different varieties of our Gozleme.
What’s your favourite food hack or tip you can share?
Here’s a useful food hack: When you’re working with eggplants, don’t forget to use some salt to prevent them from turning black. Simply dip the eggplant flesh into salty water, give it a quick rinse in fresh water, pat it dry, and you’re ready to cook.
What do you love cooking the most?
I have a soft spot for cooking Eggplant Casserole; it’s my personal favourite.
When you go out for dinner what do you choose?
When I eat out, I usually choose something simple yet delicious like a burger or a pizza. I’m a big fan of all types of pizza. It’s just a treat not to cook!
What do you love most about being part of the Market?
What I love most about being part of the Market is the sense of community. I’ve built numerous friendships here, and it feels like one big family.
